You may have noticed I have added some new photos to my ‘Products‘ page, including a children’s quilt/mat/rug/throw… I am still working on a title (any suggestions would be welcomed).

During my mini break last week in Warrnambool proved to be the perfect opportunity to give the new product one last testing before adding it to my online stores.

The quilts are super warm and comfortable, yet still breathable as they have a high quality inner that is natural cotton.  Perfect for sleeping and relaxing.

I always have it on the floor at home for play time and tummy time, however, I’ve also added a bottom layer, that attaches via magnets for quick and easy release. The layer has a plastic base, perfect for protecting the quilt when having floor play or tummy time when out and about, in a cafe, or outdoors.

And it can be doubled as a change mat by flipping the quilt over…

Clearly it is one versatile item. I have learnt that when trying to get out and about with a kid you need to eliminate anything that is not absolutely essential so that you don’t appear as a pack horse.

Lastly I have to mention that I have designed the fabric to compliment the personality of a certain little monster. I will introduce him and his friends shortly.
