Finders Keepers Market Melbourne
This time last week I was having a great time and meeting some lovely people at The Finders Keepers market, Melbourne. I thought I’d share some of the beautiful treasures from other amazingly creative people that were alongside me at Finders Keepers.
I was so lucky, yet a little intimidated, as my stall was next to the super talented Victoria Mason! I have admired her jewellery for so long and in the past my gorgeous husband has scored a lot of points by getting me a few of her special pieces. I have had a chance to spend time with Victoria on a few occasions and even attend some of her jewellery making workshops so it was lovely to have someone to chat to that is really familiar with the market culture.

VICTORIA MASON JEWELLERY
Her new collection is just brilliant! Her designs feature free form shapes, beautiful bold colours and enamel work all juxtaposed in a asymmetrically balanced manner. The collection is inspired by the highly talented and whimsical Viennese artist Hundertwasser.

FABLE BABY
Fable baby is a babies wear label by two gorgeous friends of mine Prue and Phoebe. They design and produce the most divine and not to mention ethical baby wears. Their screen printed designs are so soft and subtle, which are perfect for a beautiful new baby. I have to make a special mention of their gorgeous knitted hats and booties as my mum knits them!

MILK AND MASUKI
I met the lovely Rachael, one half of Milk and Masuki a few months ago and had the pleasure of meeting Ishak at Finders Keepers. Ishak had made the dedicated trek from northern NSW to bring their beautiful children’s wares to Finders Keepers! Their designs feature screen printed geometric inspired patterns and illustrations, some featuring divine bears of wolves. They are really bold illustration on beautiful neutral garments and blankets.

HARPER AND HUDSON
A new label I discovered was Harper and Hudson who produce bold, colourful jewellery that is… baby friendly! Believe me since the weekend I have put my purchase through rigorous testing and my boy loves it and hasn’t dented it up in teething frustration.
What a great concept given any mum would recognize that tiny voice in the back of their mind “hmmm I wonder is my necklace toxic? Will it break and my child choke?” only to ignore it because your child is in absolutely bliss rubbing their sore gums on whatever is dangled in from of them and depriving them of it will only result in tears and snot!
